Chris is a professional wholesaler himself, and the owner of One Source. Sydney has been an eBay seller since 1996 and knows and understands that wholesale market from an auction-seller's point of view. They have often mourned the ridiculous auctions on eBay that fleece unwary buyers, eager to profit from eBay, into wasting their money on useless lists.

As Chris Malta says:

There are thousands of scammers, snake oil salesmen and just plain lazy profiteers on the Internet who are just lying around waiting to AMBUSH you when start looking for REAL Wholesale Suppliers to work with. There is a whole niche industry built up on the Net around this kind of scamming!

The people who run these scams have all the moral fiber of a box of hair, and the only reason they even know the word ‘Scruples’ is from the TV commercial for the party game.

For example, let's take a look at this 'snake oil' auction. This auction seller claims that he has an entire wholesale and dropshipping business, and that he sells thousands of wholesale products through his website (the URL is blanked out). When I attempted to go to this website, I received a 404 – not found – page. Meaning, the website doesn't exist – so we can presume that his so-called business doesn't either.

Further, he claims to have sold thousands of products on eBay – yet look at his feedback rating. Only 13 points in a year? Doesn't sound too busy, does he?

In a sincere effort to run these useless auctions off eBay and the Internet in general, Chris and Sydney have not only written a book explaining the truth about real wholesalers and dropshippers. Naturally, this is an ambitious idea, and we can never stop these scams entirely, but hopefully we will make it a lot harder for them!
