eBay Clothing Auction: Lots of Clothing Items Auctioned on eBay

The eBay clothing auction business is a healthy niche on eBay. Millions of dollars worth of clothes are auctioned every month on eBay and part of this is due to the tremendous variety of items and categories available for sale.

For instance, eBay's main categories are:

* Infants and Toddlers
* Boys clothing
* Girls Clothing
* Men's Accessories
* Men's Clothing
* Men's Shoes
* Uniforms
* Wedding Apparel
* Women's Accessories, Handbags
* Women's Clothing
* Women's Shoes
* Vintage
* Wholesale, Large & Small Lots

Only 13 categories, but there are dozens and dozens of fascinating subcategories, including favorites like designer sunglasses (Kate Spade, Oakley, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Ray-Ban, Serengeti and Versace), designer handbags, beanie hats, wigs and extensions, paisley bow ties, cowboy boots, suspenders or braces, "ring boys" outfits for weddings, scrunchies, key chains and biker clothes.

My personal favorite for clothing auctions, though, are vintage clothes. Such items as purses, shoes and clothing are arranged into time-categories:

* Pre-1920 (Edwardian & Older)
* 1920-38 (20s, Depression)
* 1939-46 (WWII)
* 1947-64 (New Look-Early 60s)
* 1965-76 (Mod, Hippie, Disco)
* 1977-89 (Punk, New Wave, 80s)

If we can't have fun selling on eBay, then there really isn't any point. An eBay clothing auction is a party, to the right person. Like me.
