Snowmobile Auctions: Auctioning Snowmobiles On eBay Surpisingly Occurs Year Round

Surprisingly, snowmobile auctions have at least some traffic on eBay. For instance, in the summer I expected sales to be weak but they still exist, although naturally they don't have the power of the winter sport season.

There were an average of four bids for each auction, which is really healthy trading in the middle of summer. One seller, for example, listed four snowmobiles for sale and sold three of them, for a total of $11,761, in a 30 day period.

Translation: snowmobile auctions are healthy on eBay, even in off-season months. It's a good niche for a seller who has a supplier - especially if she focuses on other items during the warmer months, to take up the slack. Caution: don't wait till the first flakes fall before setting up your sources and listings.
