However, you will have a lot of work to do if you want to make them your store's target group.

For one thing, almost every comic book collector knows a lot about their hobby and they tend to look for obscure and hard-to-find comics. They are willing to pay a lot, but they only look for quality stuff.

The most common method is looking for comic book collectors who have decided to sell out their collection. Usually you'll be able to get a healthy discount if you buy the whole group. Unfortunately it's only on rare occasions that you'll be able to get real valuable comic books this way.

Buy-sell comics on eBay:

Buying comics and other resellable merchandise on eBay and then reselling it under your name is a typical eBay behavior. Unfortunately it's of little use when you try it on a comic book. Other collectors interested in buying it will probably take part in the same auction as you and even if you win, they won't be willing to spend enough money to make it profitable for you. A comic book collector who hasn't been able to pay $80 to win the auction surely won't pay you $120.
