How To Sell On eBay :: Free Image Hosting

Image Hosting: Free
or Fee Image Hosting?Free
image hosting definitely seems like a good idea if you want to sell
on eBay. But is it, really? We can only answer that having your own image hosting
service is definitely a good idea - the only decision is whether you want a free
or paid service.
Everyone who has sold on eBay knows that your item is much more likely to sell if your listing has more than one picture. But eBay allows only one picture for free. Any extra pictures cost 15 cents, which might not seem like much, but spending money on image hosting only runs up your costs and makes it harder to profit from your very hard work. And there are extra charges for extra pictures:
* Slide show: 75 cents (http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/slideshow.html)
* Supersize image: 75 cents (http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/supersize.html)
* Picture pack: $1 (http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/picture_pack.html)
All these little charges nibble away at your money, and make your own image hosting service desirable, because you can upload your pictures somewhere other than eBay and thus include as many as you want for free (in terms of eBay costs).

should I pay for image hosting when I can get it for free?Here
are some of the negatives of free image hosting: *
Advertising:
there may be unwanted ads on all your auction templates or watermarks at images
you host. Many free image hosts rely solely on these ads to earn money or advertise,
so very few offer services that are free of forced advertising. Visitors to your
graphic files see a watermark banner ad on the top of each of your image. Or they
might be hit with a pop-up banner. *
Downtime (going offline) plagues many free
image hosts. The fact that their subscribers dont pay for services means
that many free image hosts feel less than obligated when it comes to dependability.
Free image hosts are rarely bothered if some of users are dissatisfied with the
service - this small minority are of little or no real benefit to the image host
anyway. * The
majority of free image hosts dont have the money to hire customer support
teams. * You might have limited space
for your pictures. For several reasons,
a paid image host provides a significantly better
service than do free image hosts. Free image hosting might be ideal for personal
use. But for those in business, paid image hosting is probably better. After all,
the folks running those free services want to make money, just like we do.
