Caterpillar construction equipment is renowned for its high quality and sturdiness. At the fist glance this would make Caterpillar construction equipment ideal items for sale on eBay, as well-known brands are bought more often than their unknown competitors. However, things are not as fine this time.

First, lets make it clear: Caterpillar construction equipment might work on eBay, but only if you run a Caterpillar retail shop offline.

Then, going online, opening an eBay store and finding additional customers through online means is an excellent business idea.

However, if you're just a normal guy trying to find some interesting eBay idea, forget it.

The reason for that is simple: setting competitive prices without starving you and your family to death will be very difficult – all your competitors use similar sources to yours but they have an upper hand because of their higher rating. Again, if you already have a similar offline business, you can start your eBay store, sell Caterpillar construction equipment there, gain some positive feedback rating and start to compete with the “big guys”. This process may be worth of your time, but you need a solid base of operation to avoid being swept away during the first year or so.
