This is a service provided by most web marketing companies, and is done by looking at the company's website, competitors, and target audience. This is where keyword optimization and modification of website content is done, to subtly tweak the website's design and have it appear higher on lists of relevant search results. Banner ads and skyscraper ads are similar, in that they are advertisements displayed as horizontal or vertical bars across a webpage, respectively. These are a lot like conventional ads in magazines or posters, in that they are full-color graphics and are very visual media. Online banner ads have the additional advantages of being able to offer animations and sound, and also be clickable to direct viewers to the advertisers' websites. Recent research has shown that users generally ignore this type of ads nowadays, especially ones with long animations. Simple ones with a static message are more effective, but still less effective than they used to be. These are some of the more common types of online Internet advertising. Before deciding on which ones to include in your online ad campaign, it would be best to look at all the options available and evaluate them. A successful ad campaign online would require using all the resources at your disposal to the fullest, and not being afraid to plan and monitor.
