Method 1: Ask friends and friends of friends

You'd be surprised how effective this method can be, especially in the beginning. The laws of statistics are ruthless: among your friends and relatives there are at least a few people who are willing to sell their timeshares. However, this method won't work long. This way you can put for sale a dozen timeshares or so, but not much more. The reason for that is simple: the amount of people you can get to this way is vast, but still limited. With time, there will be less and less timeshare owners around you.

Method 2: Put an ad in a local newspaper

Ineffective and relatively expensive, though you may try it if you're desperate. Nowadays most timeshare trading is done online. You can find timeshares for sale on special websites or even on eBay itself (though they are rarely placed there by owners themselves), but offline trade does not happen very often unless in a travel agency.

Method 3: Create a website

Probably the best method of finding timeshares for sale on eBay is starting your own timesharing website where owners buy, sell and exchange their timeshares. While it will be hard to get into the top 10 of such sites, as most of them are large, notable companies, if you choose some niche, you can still hope to get some potential sellers. Then the only thing left is to buy their timeshares and then resell them through eBay.
