Discount Chanel: How To Spot Authentic Discount Chanel

"Discount Chanel". "Discount Chanel". Those words almost sound like an oxymoron or a scam, don't they? After all, we all know that Coco Chanel designs are among the sought-after in the world. They're usually in the closets of rich women and not us mortals. Since the Internet, and specifically eBay, though, not only movie stars and 'old money' can afford Chanel because there truly are discounts to be had, even with famous clothing.

Naturally, we don't want to get ripped off so the question becomes: how can you tell authentic ones from fakes?

When you find a discount Chanel, make sure they’re authentic before you buy them. Even on e-Bay, the safest and most prominent e-marketplace, you will sometimes find poorly made fakes being sold as quality, but discount Chanel products. Fortunately it’s usually possible to check if the products you’re going to buy are really made by Chanel.

The price:

If it’s too good, that’s a dangerous sign. Although there are always several people offering authentic discount Chanel products on e-Bay at any given time, if the discount is too high, it usually means that something’s wrong.

Store tag or receipt:

While buying discount Chanel products, especially handbags or purses, always ask for the original receipt or the story tag. If the seller offers any objections to that, look for another item. Remember, most people selling their wares at e-Bay are aware of fakes. They should be able to prove that their products are authentic just like the seller below has done.

Certificate of authenticity:

Many legitimate sellers offer a certificate of authenticity like the one below:

According to the seller, the certificate is purposely
blurred so that unscrupulous people cannot copy
it, but the original will be given to the buyer
.

The disclaimers:

If you notice any strange or potentially dangerous disclaimers on the seller’s page, quit the transaction even if it is looking just great. Here are some example disclaimers that say “I’m in a fake business”:

“ Authenticity not guaranteed”
“ Discount Chanel style products”
* We cannot guarantee authenticity of the products”
“ Chanel-inspired cosmetics”

Remember: if someone’s selling authentic brand name products, they will do everything to make sure you know about it. If the seller tells you they doubt in the products’ authenticity, it means that they’re not selling discount Chanel, Gucci or Versace bags or cosmetics at all.
